About the Scholarship
The MCPS CTE-sponsored Workforce Development Scholarship is dedicated to supporting students from Martinsville High School who wish to pursue vocational education at Patrick and Henry Community College.
This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students interested in enrolling in specific trade programs offered by the college, including welding, precision machining, industrial electronics technology, computer-aided drafting, motorsports technology, residential/commercial electrician, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), power line worker, and commercial driver's license (CDL) programs. The scholarship will award $1,000 to three students.
Eligibility Requirements
Graduate from Martinsville High School in 2024
Enroll at Patrick and Henry Community College
Maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher
Participate in eligible trade programs
Not be recipients of the Harvest SEED Scholarship
